Movie day

Look at Jared, it doesn't get any cooler than him lol. Well the boys dont have school again today. It finally has quit snowing and the sun came out. It actually got up to 32 degrees so far today. It hasnt been this warm in like 3 weeks!! All the boys are watching Superman Returns. Don is home but he is feeling alot better. I think this bug is almost out of our house, yay! Last night we watched the Pacifier. I love that movie, it is so funny! Well because I have not left the house in a week, there really is nothing exciting going on! Happy tuesday!

Loooonnnggg time

I know its been forever! But its been a hell of a week! Lets see, Josh came down with a double ear infection and double eye infection on Monday, then wednesday, Jared started the same symptoms, well of couse he has it too, but worse. Then of course Thursday is my day to get it, so Don came home early so I could go die, well not really but it felt like it. No one has slept since last monday, well except for Parker and Patrick who thankfully DID NOT get this! I have been lysoling everyday, opening the doors and windows, washing bed spreads, sheets and everything that doesn't move. Then we come to saturday, well our week wouldn't be complete unless Don got it, so whats he go and do?? He gets it. He is off to the Dr right now to make sure its not strep throat! So I'm sure you can tell why I have not updated for a while.

We got hit HARD with snow. The boys dont have school today, we got about 7 inches, its funny to watch Mona try and go to the bathroom lol.

The boys got their report cards, Patrick is doing SO awesome! I'm so glad that we moved him back to 2nd grade. Parker on the other hand, not so well. His teachers say he is doing great during class time and on his tests he is scoring all A's, but its his homework, or if he doesn't finish his work he is suppose to do it, and NEVER does. So needless to say he got 2 F's. I was so shocked and upset. He is grounded from everything, except 1/2 of tv a night. His teachers game him ALL his makeup work and then he leaves it at school =() So tomorrow he will be bringing it all home to do. He did all his science, but now were waiting on Math. We have a conference this week with his teacher. But then on the flip side of Parker. He doesn't like that his classmates cuss, so he went up to them and asked each of them if they believe in Jesus, they said yes, and he told them that they need to ask for forgiveness because Jesus doesn't like it when you cuss, so they did. He has such a great heart! He is my Pastor for sure!

So thats about all in our house this week, I sure wish it was more calm this week, but next week will be better.....I hope!!

Monday

Today the boys didn't have school, obviously, I dont know anyone that did. Tara and the girls left this morning =( We had so much fun. We really didn't do anything. We were lucky to have a shower yesterday, that was the extent of us doing something lol. The kids of course had so much fun. Josh and Jared are SOO sick. Josh has a terrible cold in his eyes, he woke up this morning and his eyes were glued shut so he came in looking for me with his hands out saying mommy, mommy, it was so cute. Jared has yet another cold. I will be so glad when winter is done, this is by far one of our worst winters for colds/sickness. Don has been working 3AM-3pm forever it seems like, I will be glad he has friday and saturday off so he can sleep in and rest! Josh has been talking so much more, when you ask how he is feeling he yells "NOT GOOD" ok, so I'm done asking that question lol. Patrick went to the ortho and got his last 2 braces on, they are working so fast! He should only have them for a couple or few more months. They did say after his teeth are done falling out he will have to get top and bottom braces, he is our expensive child for sure =) For some reason yesterday we got some freak snow storm. I am SO done with snow. It was so damn cold, the wind was blowing so hard that poor Lily (taras chawawa)sp? got pushed over in the wind, she couldn't even go to the bathroom. It was 7 degrees when I woke up today and the wind was blowing so it was even colder, it is up to 25 now, woohoo!! Anyway, thats about it for our weekend! Hope everyone had a good weekend as well!

Wednesday

Yesterday I had 2 sick boys home from school. They are both feeling alot better, but Parker just has this cough that goes on and on. Joshua is doing so awesome potty training and without his bink, he is bink free, well he was until I went in his room today and he was sleeping in his bed with Jareds bink. He thinks hes so clever lol. We have not gone anywhere all weeklong. Which is kind of nice, I couldn't handle that in Ephrata, but I think its because I love my house here, and in Eprhata I didn't really like it, so who knows. Its been a pretty boring week for us here, just the normal stuff I do everyday like, sweep, vaccum, clean the toilet, play with the boys, make each meal, and do laundry. Tonight is Rangers night, Parker hasn't been since before Christmas so he is so excited to get back. Well thats about it for us!!

Well, I got about 6 inches cut off. I LOVE IT! So much lighter!!

Crazy times

This week has been kind of crazy. We have gotten SO much snow, I'm ready for it to be gone now. I was sitting in the living room and the boys love to play in the curtain for our slidding glass door, well I didn't think anything of it until Josh said "Mom, Bear bears outside" I jumped up and Josh had opened the door and jared walked outside and Josh locked the door! I could not believe it. So he got a nice talking to about that. Then today we were in my room and Josh said "Mom look at me, Mona is a bung hole" WHAT?? So ya, I need to watch what I say now that he is talking lol. Andrew is over tonight since we wont get to have slumber partys for a while =( So they are all downstairs playing. I'm so going to miss that family, I've enjoyed having them all to myself =) Tomorrow, Me, Amanda and my Mom are going out for breakfast, then I'm getting my hair cut, its much needed, about 6-7 inches off. Don likes it at my shoulders and its so much easier to take care of, I dont have to brush it all day long and I dont have to use detangler before I brush it. If my hair wasn't so thick I think it would be different. Then we are taking Dons truck in to get new brakes and new rotors. Its always fun spending money on stuff like that.....NOT! We bought our tickets to Oklahoma. I am so happy and excited to go. I cant wait to give my grandma a great big hug! I cant wait to finally meet Beckys husband Mike and her sweet little boys!! Well thats about it for now, just a quick update!!

2008

So far this has been a great year. I know were only into day 7, but I have a great feeling. We are gettting completly dumped with snow right now, been snowing all day and last night too. The boys school got cancelled at 1pm today, so they got to come home early, probably wont have it tomorrow either, we'll see though. Its been pretty boring and quiet around here, thats why I have not blogged, nothing to talk about. I wish I could sleep at night, I just want one good sleep, of course then I will probably be to tired for to much sleep lol. I am happy to report some good news, Kevon FINALLY asked Meghan to marry him. YAYAY!! So they are getting married in August. She is a good addition to our family. Anyway, thats about it for now!!
