Quick update!

So we went to the monster truck show last night. I know I need to update, since I updated last we had Patricks birthday, the big 1-0!! Joshua has another rodeo this weekend on Fathers Day, and this thursday is the 5 year anniversary of the adoption! So its been crazy and stressful and wonderful all at the same time!

Well it was the big day! He did it, holding on very tightly to daddys shirt, but Joshua rode the sheep! It was absolutly adorable and heart breaking. He has talked about this for months, and he cried, all the kids back there were crying so I'm sure that didn't help. But we were SO freakin proud of him! He does want to do it again, so we'll see what happens!

Its been a really crazy month, which is why I have not posted since then. We did make it over to the West side and had a wonderful time. This weekend is graduation! My Micah Rae is graduating, doesn't seem possible. I remember whe she was born, when we went to San Diego, when she pooped in the pool lol! She has turned out to be such a beautiful young woman! The fam is coming over this weekend, we get Ryan and Amanda and the kids at our house yay!!

Softball is going good, we have only lost 1 game, the other games we dont just win we spank some major booty! Its a fun group of ladies!

Work is going good, just really getting into the busy time with preschool out and school out in less than 2 weeks, going to be crazy!! The boys CANT wait for school to get out! Finally have reached warm temps, today is the coolest day in a while, its only 82, its gotten up to the 100's already!

Recap!

First I must say that I had an amazing Mothers Day! My boys made it so perfect for me, that I just sat and cried that night. I woke up to breakfast in bed. The boys scratched my back while I ate, egg, toast, applesauce and juice. Then Patrick vaccumed for me and the boys were SO wonderful all day long. Parker and Patrick walked down to the store and got me a magazine, cinnamon roll and reces peanut butter cup, nothing like a bunch of sugar lol! Don got home from work and we went and bbq'd with some friends and my mom and john. It was really a wonderful day! I truly am blessed to have such wonderful boys.

Joshua has been doing good at t-ball. I think he only ha 1 or 2 more games. I have another game tonight. Don is going to stay home with the boys, Josh is just getting a gross cold that is going to his eyes =( poor baby.

So just wanted to give a little update about my moms day and what amazing boys I have!!

Saturdays!

Saturdays are the best! Especially when Don is home, which he isnt home =( But he has tomorrow off! I changed the background of my blog, I think I might change the picture too, we shall see. This week has been busy, like normal! Joshua started T-ball, he loves it! Needs a little help with batting, but thats tomorrow when daddy is home. Every chance my men get they are out on the track riding. We bought Josh/Jared a helmet so they dont have to keep borrowing Patricks. Work is going insane, we have had SO many kids, which is good, but stressful at times. Yesterday we only had 2 so I got off early and it was perfect!! Some sickness is going around again and I think Jared might be getting it, nothing like the Swine flu, but just a cold/cough. The weather has been so weird! It was so nice yesterday, suppose to rain for 3 days, but it looks beautiful outside right now, so hopefully it wont cause the boys want to go riding and I want to go grocery shopping by myself =) We have a made a decision to put Josh in preschool for another year. It was a hard choice, but we really think its the best for him and he is excited! We took the boys to a rodeo so Josh could watch the muttnbustin. He cant wait! His first offical rodeo is at the end of the month! So between t-ball and rodeos I am counting alot of minutes down lol! Well I'm going to get this saturday going! Have a good weekend!

My Bear Bear is 3!

I cannot believe today is Jareds 3rd birthday! Where has the time gone? I cant say its been easy, cause it hasn't but he has such a sweet face and gives the best kisses and hugs. He for sure is the last child and boy does he act like it! I love that he talks all the time and wants to do whatever his brothers are doing, even if its riding 4 wheelers! He makes me laugh and cry all at the same time. So Happy Birthday Jared Russell!! We love you!!

Catching Up

What a long couple of weeks! I dont even know where to start, so I will start with the most recent. Today Ali from the Biggest Loser is coming to Odessa to share her story. I am really looking forward to this. Joshua has had a fever for a couple days, but it finally went away last night and he is still fever free. I have had a head cold for a couple days. Friday I went home early and slept for 3 hours, then that night I went to bed at 10:30 while Don went over to his friends house, he let me sleep in until 10:15 am, I felt alot better, guess I just needed sleep. I've been doing alot of book fair stuff, the big book fair is tuesday, My Bear Bears birthday! The big 3! I cannot believe he is going to be 3! We've been doing some outside work to try and make our yard look nice. We are going to be starting to put new siding on our house, were going to start with the back first. Yesterday Don took the boys up riding, a friend of Parker and a friend of Patricks, so there were a load of boys up there riding around. They all had so much fun! I kept my windows open and cleaned, it was nice! This week it is suppose to hit the 80's outside! FINALLY!! We have another busy week. Joshua starts t-ball on tuesday, then my softball on wednesday, then t-ball on thursday, birthday party on friday, then of course the walk a thon sunday, always something! My mom leaves on wednesday, so we will have her dogs for 2 weeks, could be a long 2 weeks, or a fast 2 weeks =) We went over to the west side for a night visit, it was short, too short, next time will be longer. We had Easter, Joyces birthday and Jareds birthday, it was a nice visit, the boys did amazing in the van! Well I'm going to get ready to head up to the school to watch Ali, so Happy Sunday!
