I survived!

Well its offical, im 35 and still alive! My birthday was good! The boys kept saying "mom we will do whatever you want cause its your birthday" of course jared would forget so i would kindly remind him of the day and he was sorry and he will be good lol it really was just for the day, on thursday he said after he was getting in trouble "its not your birthday anymore" ha! The boys got me a wind chime that i LOVE and don (who wasnt suppose to get me a thing since i got my dishwasher) got me 10 free hot cocoas at our coffee stand. That made me so excited lol

The boys had football on saturday, jareds team lost and joshuas team won. after we came home and did work! Well i did laundry and floors and the stairs and don and pat put in new pipes under the house. Now my washer doesnt drain into my shower and i dont have to clean it everyday!! That made me SO happy!! Yesterday was a lazy day well except laundry lol took patrick into town so he could hang out with keisha. Oh and on saturday we saw jackie parkers "friend" she is super cute!

So here starts a new week of flashlight reading at school, football, youth group, work,laundry and of course our halloween party on friday and the boys have 1 on saturday then the school carnival on sunday. Wow, im already tired lol!

Age is just a number?

So yesterday it hit me like a ton of bricks..im going to be 35 tomorrow! When did this happen? When did I become an adult? I honestly still think im in my early 20's and my family think im in my teen years mentally lol!! There were so many things I was going to do before I got to this age, but look at me, nothing! Then on the other hand I have accomplished alot, I mean come on I have 4 great boys a great husband great frinds great house, so in reality I have accomplished a butt ton! So I guess age really is just a number.

This last weekend was a good one! Patrick raced on saturday and sunday and did amazing!! Him and Don stayed in the trailer at the racetrack and had the best time. Im so glad they did, they bonded and had ome good father son time! During his races saturday the other boys had football so off to Ritzville I went with the 5 kids. Jared played at 8am and Josh and Bradly didnt play til noon...ugh! So we went to the park and McDonalds. Later that night jennifer came and got her kids yay!! So I shampooed the carpet and did laundry and cuddled with my boys. Sunday mom picked up Keisha (pats girlfriend) and we all headed to the races! Such a fun day watching Patrick, he is so awesome! Came home and relaxed! That was our weekend!

Frustrations!

How do you not get so frustrated? I wish I could answer that but lately I have been a basket of frustration. Maybe its because I have 6 kids this week? The extra kids are not bad but when you add them to mine it equals alot of kids, noise and frustration! I have had 2 meltdowns this week and it makes me go to bed crying that Im a terrible mom because it seems like all I do is yell and I HATE THAT! For instance, last night was showers for all of them, that is of course after the football game, homework and eating dinner (don was in moses fixing my van) Jared was just being a bear and he was in the shower crying and whining and all I could do was cry! Of course he said im so sorry mom and i love you the mostest and i will be good, well of course that makes me feel like about 2 inches tall and an awful person! So this morning we were running later than I thought and my red level got high really quick, so while they were eating I sat on the couch and chanted the blog I posted a couple days ago about what Im thankful for, it worked for a few minutes lol! So I ask how do you not get frustrated?

This weekend is flag football in Ritzville. Jareds game is at 8am and Josh and Bradlys game is at noon..ugh! Don and Patrick will be in Airway Heights at his race, which Im so sad I dont get to watch, but I will sunday! Im dropping the 2 extras at a friends house sunday and heading up to the races. Patrick is SO excited, its just him and his dad camping at the races and enjoying some great dad son time! Well Im off this thing til monday, hope you all have a great weekend!!

Cold :(

Many of you know I'm a big pansie when it comes to cold weather, its true I admit it. Well this am it was 39 degrees outside and I am very sad about this! But as I sit and complain about the cold I really have to think about everything I am utterly blessed with! So lets start! Don, I would be a wreck without him, he really does calm me down and love me absolutly unconditionally, not sure why half the time but he does :) My boys, oh my boys they stress me out alot but I am so in love with them its ok! My house, it still needs work on the outside but it keeps my family safe, warm and we have alot of great memories in there so far! My doggie Mona! Oh I love my puppy alot! I can rest assured every time I come out of the bathroom she is laying there waiting for me. My family, I have the greatest family ever, well most of them lol my van, i love my van! It gets me to work each day and my family to pratices. My job, I totally have the best job ever! We just got done watching the Pirates series (i have never seen them and now im totally in love with johnny dep) thats what we do is watch movies and visit! So basically I really am a lucky person somedays I just forget it.

Wow!!

I cant believe its already been a year since I posted last! Where did the time go? So much has happened I dont even know where to start lol. The boys are doing amazing! Parker is in 8th grade and 14, he actually is liking school this year and doing quite well. Patrick is in 6th and he is 12. he has been racing his dirtbike and his last race for the season is this weekend! Joshua is 7 and in 1st grade. He just got glasses and looks SO handsome! Jared is 5 and in K, he loves school! Josh and Bear are doing flag football this year so that means cold saturdays for us! Patrick opted to not do football so he can race, which makes me a nervous wreck! He ran into a tree a couple weeks ago at our house and sprained his wrist, but of course he kept riding til the pain was to bad ha! Parker is just doing his Parker stuff. He is so wonderful! This summer he babysat everyday and never ever once complained about it! This summer I started my new job! I had to train in Spokane for a month but I am a Home Hemodialysis tech person lol which means i put needles in my boss' arm so she can recieve dialysis in her home, the whole process takes about 4.5 hours everyday m-f, with my boys its the most perfect job and hours! I really get along great with my boss so that makes it even better :) We have started with the outside of our house now! We took down our bunkhouse, which didnt come down easy! We are ripping up all of our grass and hydro seeding in the spring, it will look beautiful when its done! We have been drawing out plans for our wrap around deck which i cant wait to finish! This spring we had an extra kid living with us for about 5 months, was SO happy when we were just us again, Parker gave up his room for her (such a sweet heart he has) and now his room is back to being a pigsty lol This week I have Jennifers kids again while she is up wrangling her cows, im an old pro at it ha! We are planning our Halloween party again! Cant wait, no clue what were going to be yet! Well I guess thats about it! Im not posting pics because there are certain people I dont want to see any. That old saying "what goes around comes around" well lets just say justice has been done :)

fall is here :(

well i think fall is officially here :( rain, wind,cold..of course cause we have football saturdays. were still chuggin along..this week i have 7 kids! my bff jennifer had cows to wrangle up north so, that means her kiddies are here! its loud, so very loud, but so far all the kids are getting along and being good...for now lol! so i planned a detailed menu and went shopping, we have to take 2 vehicles wherever we go lol i wonder if the school would let me borrow a bus ha! at least they are all in school even if 3 of them get home at noon..i will take it! dons working today on his day off :( so i made cupcakes! we told park and pat they could have a halloween party..so they each invited their whole classes..ok before you call me crazy, patrick has 9 kids and parker has 15 so really thats not bad! so we have been buying decorations and i have been getting ideas for food and goodies..its going to be so much fun! we have a fog machine and karioke (sp) i cant wait! i get to go hold a brand new baby girl next weekend..i am so excited...i already know im going to melt and want to adopt a baby..good think don is the brains in this operation and can remind me of how 4 already stress me out ha! all the boys are doing so good in school! big sigh of relief! so thats our quick update!!

school has started!

this summer has gone by so fast! rodeo season went great! josh is done with sheep and onto calves :o im not excited about this! we spent alot of time at the pool and did manage to go camping up north with some great friends. we went huckleberry picking and swimming in the river, we all had a great time. of course the day we were to leave the boys found barn kittys, 1 was dead and the other 2 were close, so don got kitten replacement milk and the 4 hour feedings started...yes we brought them camp!ng with us. the 1 kitten died in my hands the next day but the runt is still going strong and now our house pet :) we love our coffee bean! the boys are so far loving school...amen!! parker is in 7th, patrick is in 5th, josh is in k, and jared is in preschool! where has the time gone :( we had a fire across the street from our house..thank the lord the wind wasnt blowing that would not of turned out good! we have worked so hard on this house that you would have to committ me if something happened to our house! so all in all we had a great summer! now onto fall!
