Christmas!

I cannot believe it is already Christmas Eve! Where in the heck did this year go? What a great year it was, the years only get better and better! Last week we were on the west side doing our Christmas there. Always a good time, miss my family already! Tomorrow after John gets off work my mom and him are coming for Christmas dinner. I had to work until 2 today BOOO but when I got home I made my cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning, well they are still rising but look amazing! Tonight we watch Rudolph and have hot cocoa, then I will tell all the boys the story of The night before Christmas, and off to bed for them and wrapping starts for us LOL! Why oh why do we wait until Christmas Eve to wrap? I think we ask ourselves that every single year! Since they don't read my blog I can tell you that they are getting a Husky/Lab puppy for Christmas. I am not ready for a dog, I miss my Mona girl so much, so so much, but it isn't about me, its about them and they want a dog so badly! We go this weekend and pick her out, she isn't ready for her new home for another week or so but we'll go dibs her :)

I work Friday in the lab booo again, Don doesn't work and the boys are home and I have to work, it makes me sad but at least I get off at 2, whatever lol. This Christmas will NOT be a white one, first one in so many years, but I am ok with it! We have not really had any snow which I am also ok with. The weather has been amazing and I have enjoyed winter for once. The temps are suppose to drop this weekend but I still don't see snow in the forecast, we have had lots of rain, which is better than snow ha!

Well I'm off to make the frosting for my cinnamon rolls and make dinner! Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

18 Days til Christmas

I cannot believe we are already half way though December! I tried to post last month about my anniversary but it wouldn't post ugh! So last month we celebrated 12 years, seems like 30 some times lol We have been so busy! Patrick had Mono and thrush super bad, so the month of November he was down. The month of December is make up work time for Patrick. Poor kid! The littles started basketball, so that is Mon, Tue, Wed and Thur each week! Plus school board meetings, work and everything else in between! We got a sciff of snow, but it melted that same day amen! We had a super long week of very cold temps, with very windy temps that took it to the -'s, it was gross! But it has been an amazing winter so far, 40 all week for a high and mid 30's for a low, that's unheard of! We had a good Thanksgiving, went to Spokane to have lunch with Don's Mom and Harold, came home and my family was here, mom, john, sister, husband and kids! We watched the Seahawks and ate. Friday we got up and went shopping, got a few stocking stuffers and a gift for my Bear, ate lunch and just had fun! Yesterday was my 2nd annual cookie/ornament exchange! It was a lot of fun! There were so many cookies, the boys were happy! Josh spent the weekend at a friends house, so its been super quiet around here :) I took Santa pictures for Christmas fest last Wednesday! Never again! I always stress they wont turn out, well they did but some times what you do free goes unappreciated and this is my last year. I have done it for 5 years I think and I'm done. We got our family pictures done on the water in Moses Lake oh I love them! Got my Christmas cards ordered and ready to go, just have to get stamps tomorrow! Next weekend I am going to pick up my Aunt and cousin in Ellensburg and head to the west side for a cookie/ornament exchange! I am SO excited! I have not been home since October and I need to go home for a couple days! I miss everyone so much! Don is always saying he will look for a job over there and we can move over, but I would hate to leave our small town and my friends and my Mom :) As long as I can go visit every month, im ok! THis week I have to work 4 days instead of 3 boo! Well I best get my laundry finished and watch some football!!

Mona

So with everything that has gone on, I completely forgot to post about our sweet puppy Mona! We have had Mona girl for 11 years and the hardest thing we ever had to decide was to put her down. I did not want her to suffer anymore, its actually selfish when pets are suffering but the owners don't put them down because they aren't ready. My girl deserved to not be in any pain. We loved her SO much and she loved us. Whenever Don would wrestle with the boys she would always bite his feet ha! All the boys would have to say is ouch, Mona help and she would jump up and start biting him, I loved it! She always let the boys lay on her and put hats or glasses on her lol! She was so wonderful! We got her when she was 4 weeks old, her litter got dumped on the side of the road we got her from the pound. I miss my girl every day! When I get home I expect her to meet me at the door, but alas nothing. Here are a few pics of my sweet girl!

So, my husband has always supported me and made sure I knew how beautiful and amazing I feel. Every morning I get a text that says how beautiful and sexy I am and how lucky he is to have me as his wife. Even when we first got married and I was SO insecure and asked him every day if he was going to leave me, for about 4 years I did this! He never got frustrated with me just hugged me and told me he loved me. So when I decided to get this surgery he was very supportive and although he was scared out of his mind he let me go, and now that I actually am liking myself and the way I look I cant even tell you what that has done for our marriage. I never really realized that my insecurity and self hating was such a big part of our marriage. We have always had such a great marriage but this was always looming over my head. So now, its a whole new level for me, for us I guess! He is such an amazing man and I am SO lucky to call him MY husband!!!!

So yesterday was my 38th birthday! And let me tell you I have never felt better!! I'm sure losing 60 pounds so far helps ha! Yesterday was such a nice relaxing day! My BFF cooked us dinner and my men gave me endless hugs and kisses, a gift card to Maurices to shop yay and a new toaster lol that's what I wanted! Parker bought me the Frozen soundtrack :) Love that movie so much! Patrick won me a Cincinnati Bengals stuffed animal out of the grab machine, so sweet of them! I don't think I've ever been in such a great place, I have been off my anti depressants and my C-Pap machine! Well enough about me lol

9 more Fridays until Christmas! When did that happen? I am SO excited!! I told Don I am decorating next month ha! He was so excited LOL

Last week of flag football, plus a school board meeting for me. Patricks knee is getting better each day, thank goodness! Jared has less than a week of his splint, then buddy tape his fingers for 4 weeks and physical therapy, poor baby boy :( The weather has been pretty nice, cold in the morning like 40's but its been getting up to 70 during the day, that will not last long, pretty sure this week is in the 60's with lots of rain BOO! They say were suppose to have a warmer dry winter, which I love but we need snow, how else will our new grass grow? We'll see what happens.

My mom made me a mini carrot cake cupcake with no frosting, my first sugar since May, oh man was it AMAZING! Sunday is my day to have a small treat, I cant deprive myself anymore ha!

Fall!

I am not a fan of fall! Cold,wind and rain? No thanks! This summer went super fast. Patrick passed drivers ed and will get his license in June! How is that even possible? Parker will be 18 in July! What?? This mama is not prepared for senior year at all! Its football season so naturally Patrick had to get hurt! Helmet to the knee to many times and he has a bone bruise, its pretty painful but he is such a trooper! Jareds finger got dislocated when he was wrestling with his brother, now its in a splint. So many ER bills lol but we met our $4800. Deductible! Woohoo!

Well onto me lol I had my surgery june 2nd and im down 57 pounds! I feel amazing! Still off sugar which has been difficult this week for some reason, probably because its fall and what do I do in the fall? Bake ugh! Everyone has been so amazing and supportive especially my husband. Every single morning I fet a text about how proud he is and how amazing I look, then of course about 10 more throughout the day lol he is fantastic, all my men are. They have been wonderful not eating things in front of me that might tempt me oh I love them!they are at home coming tonight. Pat went with his girlfriend and Parker went with one of his best friends, they go every year. Parker is in a relationship with freedom as he puts it HA! We have flaf football every Saturday and of course Jaredbis out boo! Today Josh scored 4 touchdowns thats Jareds average each game, they are amazing! We are pretty lucky!!

COLD!

Man, it has been cold! Last night I had to turn my heated mattress pad on 6 all night! The kids were so cold and wanted me to start the pellet stove lol! Of course tomorrow were back in the 90's and up next week! The cold and rain with thunder and lightening was nice for that couple days, glad its over!

So I'm down 37 pounds! I feel so good, got some kinks worked out, can you guess what happens when you don't eat fiber? LOLOLOL! Ya my life the last 2 weeks, but all is good again.

I've had my Riley girl this week and its been so nice! I love that girl! Don, Josh and Patrick are in Washougal this weekend for the Pro racing outdoor series thinger. So its me and Parker and Jared, nice quiet weekend at home! My sissy is over with our sweet friend Jen so I'm hanging and visiting them, so fun!

HAHA I just thought that was funny!

My Mona girl is still chugging along. She is getting 3-5 pills a day. I figured when she is ready to go she will let me know, I can tell a lot by her eyes, shes my baby girl!!

Well just a quick post cause I'm tired and need to finish the dishes and make Parker some tea.
