Happy New Year!!

I'm ready for a new year! Although this year has been good, well except for my dad being in the hospital and Dons grandpa passing =( My kids are all healthy, Don and I are doing great, getting closer everyday. We bought another house, Don has gotten a few raises, life is good. We really love living in Odessa, it has made us so happy! I am of course mad at myself that its another new years and I have not lost my weight. This WILL be the last new years I say that. Next year when new years comes around I want my weight to be the last thing on my mind. I dont really make New years resolutions because I dont keep them lol, I mean who really does?

Christmas was good. The boys' grandma came over for the week (ex-mother in law). They had fun, I had fun, she had fun, it was fun. We made her famous bread and ate it, oh man its SOO good, so now I have the recipe and will be making it every year. The boys got lots of presents, I think Patricks favorite is his MP3 player and Parkers is his big Pokemon book or video game. I took all my Christmas stuff down the day after Christmas, I dont keep it up, why??

So in a nutshell, I'm looking forward to the New Year!! I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful 2008!!

Christmas Eve

What a weekend! We went over friday, the passs was clear. After we took the kids to my dad and joyces for the party, Tara and I went to the mall for some more shopping. THat was so fun! I finally got Dons gift. Saturday was Christmas at my dads. It was a lot of fun, the food was great, the company was fun and the gifts were good =) Don wasn't feeling good, plus he had to leave to go to work, so I missed him the rest of the weekend. Yesterday we took off and went and had lunch and opened gifts with Dewey and Karen, then picked up Kris so she could come spend a few days with us, the boys really wanted her to come over for Christmas and we said sure! So we took off and met Doug and shelly at McDonalds in North Bend for a quick gift opening and hellos then off to the pass. It was pretty good most of the time, really slushy but we made it. I started to get really car sick, it was a long drive. It took us like 5.5 hours to get home =() I'm so tired of driving! Tonight we are going to my moms for gifts and Amandas chicken fett alfredo, yum-o!!! Anyway, hope you all have a wonderfully blessed Christmas! Remember: Jesus is the reason for the season!!!

YAYAYAY!!

Ok, so Joshua is peeing on the toilet now!! I went to change his diaper this morning and I said "no more" he cried for about 25 minutes, then he stopped, he sat on the toilet a few times until he went and now he is going all the time. Now were working on #2 =() He is wearing the cutest Cars underware, it makes him look like such a big boy!!

I was SO mad about survivor! I so didnt want him to win, but I guess out of the 3, I would of picked him also. I really wanted Denise to win. Oh well such is life! Tomorrow night the finale of The Biggest Loser. I hope Jim wins!

Lovin the shoppin

So we left last night to go to wenatchee and boy did it snow the whole time! We first went to the mall and I got my girl gift and some other presents. Hot Topic is a great place for Naruto stuff! So then we went to Old Navy while Ryan and Amanda went to the shoe store, then across the parking lot for Red Robin. Adam met us there and the food was SO yummy!! After that we went to my favorite store......Target!! Spent alot more money in there. The best find though is for Parker it is a keychain that has over 50 different burps on it, including the whole alphabet. Anyone that knows Parker knows what a great gift that is for him lololol!!! We ended up getting home at 11:45pm because of all the snow. Today I walked down to the post office and got the mail, I love this time of year because everyday I go and there is at least 3 Christmas cards in there and I love cards!! We are heading out again to go back to Ephrata because I have some major grocery shopping to do and pick up 4 more gifts and were done!! Don is taking the boys to see The Chipmunks! They are going to be so excited. I will have Jared with me, he is still not into tv, so he gets to hang with mommy! Anyway, thats about it for today!!

Friday

Well it has been snowing since 7:45 this morning. I really wish it would stop because were suppose to be going Christmas shopping with Ryan and Amanda in Wenatchee tonight! This week has been a good week for the most part. Yesterday was a bit stressful, the two little ones just seemed to be in rare form, but today is a good day. Joshua had school yesterday, he is talking so much! He is really into Diego and Dora right now, its all we watch. Patrick is still doing wonderful in school, he is so happy to be back in 2nd grade where he doesn't have to stress about school work. The teachers at that school are amazing. Don has been working alot, he has Christmas day off, but then works 10 straight days in a row, mostly 10 hour days too, good money I just keep saying =) Not much has been going on this week. Have a good Friday!

Better times

This week has been better. Yesterday went to Ephrata to get diapers and milk, when I went to put it in the back of my van I found a new pack of diapers that I never took in the house. I hate it when I do that lol! Visited with Mom and Amanda for a couple hours before heading home. It snowed good last night, its so cold to, I'm so over the cold weather. We did get our tree up, yay for us! Then Parker was practicing his bells for us and played us Christmas songs, he is so darn cute. I am happy to report that Patrick LOVES being back in 2nd grade, he says he likes going to school again. That made me so darn happy. Isnt it crazy how we always worry when we really dont need to? His teacher said he is the perfect fit for the class, his work is already improving. I'm so thankful for his 3rd grade teacher Mrs Todd for helping us with this!! Well gotta get my day going, just wanted to post some pictures!!

Long time

OK, I know its been a whole week since I've updated, and I'm sorry! Its been a long emotional week and I wasn't wanting to write about anything, so now I do! I've been going back and forth with Patricks teacher, conferences, phone calls, we decided the best thing for Patrick is to put him back in 2nd grade =( I think I had the hardest time with this, I cried and cried. But I knew that its the best for him. He was struggling so badly with each subject and it wasn't fair to Patrick. He didn't want to go to school, he tried to call home everyday, he loves school, just not the work. Today was his first day of 2nd grade and he liked it. He said he got 100 on his spelling test. He is so much calmer, confident and less stressed. So it was so worth it. We got a progress report for Parker and he is doing so good. His teacher went to school with Don, he actually took her to the prom because her boyfriend broke up with her. What a sweetie. He likes all his classmates and teacher, also you get 2nds at lunch lol!!

Don had a very long week at work, so he took Thursday off with his already scheduled Friday off. I love when he is home. We got some shopping done, bought a couple christmas gifts, were doing the rest this friday. Then on Friday we went to the Odessa Christmas party. It was SOO much fun! We danced and danced and visited with people and had a good time. Ryan and Amanda went also, they had fun and I loved them being there. Don of course got called into work that night, so he had to leave at 2am to go to work, so no sleepy for him. He was SO tired, so when he got home on saturday he went right to bed. He had to work at 3am again sunday morning. He is such a hard worker. We were going to put our tree up tonight, but he isnt off work yet =( So it will have to be tomorrow night.

The boys sang at the community center for Christmas, well Patrick sang and Parker played the bells. The looked so darn cute! I have pictures I just have not downloaded them yet.

This week the boys (youngest 3) have stressed me out so badly. Jared is back to not liking sleep, Patrick is just like me, enough said and Joshua is really talking, enough said. So its been a very long long long week! I'm glad its the start of a new week. Well thats it for now, hopefully it wont be another week before I update again!!

No more snow

It rained like crazy yesterday and melted everything, yay!! Patricks mouth is feeling better, thank goodness! Thank you to those who prayed for him. Jared was sick the last few days and now its onto Joshua. The cold hit him fast at about 6:50 last night and by 7pm he was out. He is doing a little better today, but I think we'll both lay down for a nap today. I hate having broken sleep, its hard for me to function, it seems like thats all I get. Patrick had a birthday party yesterday for a girl in his class. He had fun. They both love their school so much! Friday Don had off so we got the rest of our stuff done that we wanted to. He put up our lights outside while I did the inside, so now we just need to do the tree. Saturday we baked cookies, oohhh it smelt so good in here! Andrew stayed the night then Sunday we took him home and I ordered my christmas pictures, then it started snowing like crazy, so we came home! Not much going on today, have to go down and get the box from Dons dad at the PO, and just keep wiping noses =) Have a good monday!

More snow

So last night on our way to Rangers it started snowing and snowing. We got a good dump of it, suppose to snow all weekend =( I finally had to retire my flip flops for the winter. Josh had speech today, he is doing SO good! He is at the stage of asking why all the time, thats not frustrating at all lol. Patrick starts speech next week! YAY!! His mouth is really hurting him today, poor guy. So I went and bought him soft stuff that will be easy for him to eat. Here are some pics of the house, I'm going to retake them of the boys' room since they are really clean now, thanks to me! My room is still not done but thats ok, its getting there. Were not going over this weekend, just too much snow, everywhere. So Amanda and my mom are going to come over and bake cookies. Thats always fun and fattening. Anyway, gotta jet, the boys are going to get out of school soon and i have got to make my grocery list!! Have a good Thursday. Tonight we are having movie night and watching Charlie Browns Christmas!!

Patricks braces

He did so good and he looks so darn cute! They colors he chose are black and orange, for Odessa Tiger colors!! It was 10 when we left today, yes 10 degrees. I thought I was going to freeze to death! Not ready for winter!!

Let it snow Let it snow, let it GO AWAY!!

Well we got hit with snow last night, I will post a picture a little later, its to cold to go outside lol! Were suppose to get more most of the week. I love the snow because its so beautiful but then it can go away after the first time cause I have places to go people to see! Jared slept in his OWN bed ALL night long! I slept pretty good, was up alot but what else is new. My leg is better today, dont know what I did but it sure hurt. Patrick is home today, he was coughing and just sick, he slept on the couch all night =( Well Jared is emptying the snack cupboard so I better go!!

Happy Birthday Don!!

I know its been a few days, and I"m sorry! They have been busy. First off Happy Birthday to my sweet husband Don! He turns 28 today! He is so wonderful and thoughtful and loving and an amazing daddy and husband. I would truly be lost without him.

Thanksgiving was GREAT! I made my first dinner with Amandas help of course. Everyone loved the turkey. We had a lot of fun that day. Patrick gets his braces in 2 days. He is so excited for them for some reason. Parker also has an appt that same morning for an xray and consultation, just to see what were up against with his teeth. Don has been working alot of overtime lately, which is good I guess, but I miss him. We had his birthday dinner last night at China Buffet 2, it was SO yummy!! We did take him lunch today and some doughnuts for the guys, I'm sure they all love me now. I've put up a couple pictures and got everything (except our room) unpacked, it looks good and feels like home. I love it here! Parker and Patrick spent most of the weekend with Andrew, they of course had fun. I freaked my leg up last night, so I was in pain most of the night and didn't get to finally sleep until 5:30 AM, so I am tired and going to bed early tonight. I made Don a cake so we'll have cake and ice cream after dinner. Today I've been doing laundry of course, it is never ending. Well I better go and change diapers, another never ending thing! Once again, Happy Birthday my Love!

Wednesday

So things are going good. Patrick slept with us all night long. His stomach was killing him, so I just held him and today he is much better. On Monday I went to Ephrata to run errands, mind you its 45 minutes away. We had just got to the resturant to eat when the school called for me to come get Patrick cause his tummy hurt. I had not done any of my errands so I ate and went to grab him. So then yesterday I had to go back to Ephrata so I could do my errands. Got all the food for thanksgiving. My living room is DONE, well except for hanging pictures but I need Don for that. Josh and Jareds room is done, my bedroom is coming along, my kitchen is done, still a couple box's in the dining area, but were SO almost done! YAY for me lol!! We wont move again, we will die in this house, well hopefully not inside this house, but you know what I mean. I dont think Im going to make it out on friday which really depresses me =( I have the stupid dish guy coming back. He put the dish at Patricks level on the back of our house and then he didn't ground the wires, hello idiot! Plus I'm not getting any emails so I have to call them idiots back ggrrrrrrr. I think Dons sis is going to stop by and see us, she will be a couple blocks over so she better =) Oh well, I am trying to post pictures but for some reason my computer is not taking my camera disk thing, but I will keep trying!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Here are some things I'm thankful for:

Were HOME!

Ok so we finally moved in. What a long butt week and a half! We finally signed on friday the 9th, Don worked his butt off and we started moving in on Monday the 12th. Well we didnt start loading the uhaul until like 4pm, so by the time we got back to odessa with the truck it was dark and SO cold, it was about 32 degrees. My mom kept the boys all night, thank goodness cause it would of been really hard to unload with them as it is we didn't stop that night until 3am. We woke up and finished it. I think we were both so darn tired that we were not sure what day it was lol. It was just Don and I unloading =() that was so not fun. But we did it, I'm almost done with box's now. The boys started school and had the best day ever, they couldn't wait to go back the next day. Everyone up there is so nice and of course they all know Don from when he went there. The little ones are so happy and never want to go anywhere except our "new home". Joshua started speech last week and Patrick was finally tested for his R's. His other school didn't see a problem, so I'm so happy that his teacher now saw a problem. So he will be going to speech as well. I will post some pictures as soon as the house is ready, right now its a cluster mess, but its getting better. The best part of it all?? Ryan and Amanda and the kids got here last friday night!! Andrew already stayed the night with us and they came over and saw the house, I think I'll kidnap him again tomorrow for a couple days =) The boys dont have school on wed for thanksgiving break, so they dont go back until Monday! Sit down everyone, I am having thanksgiving at my house this year!! Amanda is going to come and stay the night and were going to make dinner together, so it should be fun!! Yesterday was my Riley girls 5th birthday! I cant beleive she is 5! Thank you baby girl for waiting until I got home from my honeymoon to be born lol!! Anyway, thats about it, I will post pics soon, promise!!

We be movin

I will not be on the computer until thursday since were moving today! We got it all cleaned and the downstairs painted and carpeted, and I also painted the dining room and kitchen, or course I couldn't of done it without John and my mom! Don has been working his butt off downstairs, it looks amazing! I will post before and afters when I get my internet back up! The boys are so excited to move, they start school tomorrow and Ryan and Amanda and the kids get here in 4 DAYSSSS!! I am so excited! Well thats about it for now, I need to work =(

Cleaning SUCKS!!

Ok, so we were able to get into the house early so Don could start doing the downstairs, well the agreement was he would let us in if we cleaned the rest of the house. No problem until we saw it. He freakin didnt clean ANYTHING! So off we went, it took us about 3 hours and we had 27 50 gallon bags! The house itself isnt dirty, which is wonderful, but the crap he left was ridiculous! Don is doing really good downstairs, we will be painting on friday and laying carpet saturday. I went today with the two little ones and bleached the bathroom and cleaned the windows, the kitchen and swept floors and vaccumed. Tomorrow I'm going to shampoo the carpets and then come back to Ephrata and shampoo these carpets, thats alot of shampooing! Tomorrow is the boys' last day of school!! They are excited to skip Friday! They start their new school on tuesday since Monday is a holiday! So thats about it for the update. Yesterday not so good day, but after crying I figured it will be over soon, no big deal! We will have new email since qwest doesnt go to Odessa, but I always have my hotmail!! Have a good rest of the week!! So I wanted to tell you about a conversation we had with Parker, so the scenrio is were driving past the ephrata cemetary

Parker: well a graveyard is in the dirt, and a cemetary is in the grass, and a graveyard always has fog a cemetary doesnt.

I couldn't really respond to that so I just said oh, I didn't know that lol!!

AARRRGGG!

So we didn't close today. The paperwork didn't get to the office, but will be there tomorrow. We stopped by the boys' new school so I could turn in all the paperwork and fun stuff. Then we went down to the new house, the new roof looks great, but the inside, well thats another depressing story. The guy didnt clean ANYTHING OUT! He took a dresser some of his moms clothes and thats about it! There is christmas stuff in a closet, the washer/dryer is covered with stuff, there is still food in the panty and soap/shampoo in the bathroom. There is Sh*t everywhere! I was so upset I started crying! Don called our realtor (its in the agreement that he CLEANS everything out of there) told Larry what was going on and Larry was going to call him and tell him to get over there in the am and clean the place out. It was ridiculous. When we moved into this house it was beyond gross. It took me 3 weeks to clean it before we could even start painting! I see a dejavu coming! Of course the new house isnt dirty and gross like this one was, just crap everywhere!

On a better note, we had a good weekend. It went by SO fast! Saturday was Jordys 10th birthday! I took her to the mall for a manicure and lunch and we went to Claires to go shopping for jewerly. It was so much fun. Makes me really want a girl! Maybe in a couple years, we'll see. Sunday I took the boys' to their grandmas house where they played and made me a beautiful wreath. I love it and it smells SOOO good!! I cant wait to hang it on my door in my new house!!

Patrick is going to the dentist thursday, I think he will have to get braces on a couple teeth that are growing where they shouldn't be =( Well I have to get some boys in bed, they haven't quite adjusted to the time change!!

Halloween Pictures

Happy Halloween!!

The boys are so excited and ready for tonight. Because its so cold were going to do a few houses and my moms and then head to church for the festival. It will be fun, they have cake walks, candy and games, oh yea and HEAT!! Yesterday the boys raked the leaves for $5.00 each. They still need to put them in the bag but they did good, I think I will mow the rest lol. Even Josh was out there helping with his little rake. I tried to get a picture of them all together but Jared wasn't having that, so I might have to try while Don is home, whenever that is. He has been the "boss" this week, I think the earliest he has gotten home is 8pm. The moneys nice, but I miss him. Joshua is talking good! He has one more speech class here and then he starts in Odessa. I said "butt hole" oh ya, he copied me, so now were back to not even saying butthole! The weather is beyond cold. It was 31 when I took the boys to school this morning. That should be illegal! I got my closet all packed up, I've been dreading that, but got rid of about 10 pairs of shoes! YAY me, now I get to go get more lol!! Well thats my update for today, I will post pictures of the boys in their costumes, if I can find Jareds =()

Sad Day

Oh Monday!!

We carved pumpkins on saturday, the boys had fun. Joshua opted for one that was already painted, but then when the boys starting gutting theirs Josh had to as well, so he gutted his baby one. We are closing Friday or Monday now, there was a problem with the lender, but our Mortgage guy Gary is working it out. He is amazing and such a hard worker!! The boys went to a halloween party at Karlas this weekend, they had SO Much fun! I went and saw The Heartbreak kid with Ben Stiller. OH MY FREAKIN GOSH!!! That was the funniest movie I have ever seen! You have got to see it! I packed up the boys' room this weekend while they were gone, works out good cause then I can throw things away and pack up everything else! Mom went with me to meet Tara with the boys yesterday in North Bend. We ate some lunch and had ice cream. It was fun, the boys cant wait to go over this weekend. I gave my Jordy girl a few options for her bit 1-0 birthday, I think she is going to chose a pedicure! I dont have a girl so I have to live through my nieces! I hope she picks that because I've never had one, only pedicures! Well today I'm just going to pack up my closet! Jared goes in on friday to get his first hair cut!! I will for sure post pictures!! Punkin patch, punkin patch, this is our punkin patch

So today we found out that my grandma goes in Monday for surgery, where they will remove most of her stomach , she will be in the Hospital for up to 10 days, she will have a feeding tube until she eats, but if they get it all it will prolong her life for years!! I am so hopeful about this! She will beat this, I know it! Thank you all so much for praying!! Keep em coming!! Tonight we are carving pumpkins! Should be fun. Tuesday we had movie night where we watched Meet The Robinsons, cute movie, the boys liked it, but I think Don liked it more lol! He watched it again last night. He is still coughing, not as bad though, I bought Delsyum and it seems to work pretty good, which is good cause the night before he kept me up all night long =( Last night was Patrick and Jared I swear just one night I'd like to sleep. Jared has had SUCH bad diarreah, he leaked twice last night so thats 2 sets of jammies, sheets and blankets. He seems to be doing better today. My house smells SO bad, I think its just because its in my nose, but I hate the smell of poop, but I guess I dont know to many people that like it lol. Don is the boss right now at work while his boss is hunting. We close in 6 days! We move 2 weeks from today! I cannot wait, Im extra excited because Ryan, Amanda and the kiddos are moving into my house in Ephrata when we move out!! They will be so close. The boys almost peed their pants, well not really but they were SO excited. They've already made plans of spending the night at each others houses every weekend! Parker told us he is no longer collecting Pokemon, I know faint shock! Now he is into Naruto, so him and Andrew are so excited about that since Andrew is into it as well! Last night Parker told me "Mom I'm so glad that my new bedroom only has room for 1 person" lololol! He wants his OWN room so badly. Well I have to go break up yet another fight! Never a dull moment! Please continue to pray for my grandma and family please!! Thank you guys!!

Sunday

Well its been a good week. The boys last football game was thursday, it was the hardest team they went against so far, they did win of course, but it was 7-6, it was close! Friday was the pizza party, the kids had SOO much fun! Don put together a dvd movie of their season, it turned out awesome and the kids and parents loved it! It was also my birthday, the big 31! After the pizza party we went home and my mom brought a carrot cake up, so we had that, then Trish and Adam came over cause we were going dancing. One of the assistant coaches is in a band called Road 20, they are AWESOME! So we had some drinks and Don and I danced. It was fun and everyone slept all night!! Saturday we went to the Fall Festival, it was ALOT of fun! The boys loved it! We went on Wagon rides, face painting, games, bouncy house, pumpkin painting and of course food! Then we went and searched for new furniture. I get to get some when we move!! Our couch now wont fit upstairs very easily, so it will go downstairs in the family room. I found some that I like, but were going to go search the other furniture stores today after Don gets home. I've never got to go and buy brand new furniture, so I am excited! Don is still sick, he probably has a sinus infection.If he isnt' feeling better he has to go in =( We finished going through our attic and getting rid of a bunch of things, and of course there is another dump run. Good thing its only $4.00 to go to the dump!! Looks like were still closing next week! We are SO excited to move! Don found out that he can join the ephrata grid kids (football) and have his teams in Odessa, they will just come to ephrata to play or vise versa. So he cant wait to get that started! Everything is falling into perfect place! God is good!! Well thats my update for today. Thank you for all the birthday wishes, it really was a great day!!

Been a while

Well its been a while, I've been so tired that I have not wanted to sit down and type, so here I am. Lets see, Karla and Dylan came over Friday night, I was SO happy they came, it was fun. We chatted, had pizza, root beer floats and sunday mornings. Adam came over to keep Don company. Saturday we headed for the game where they won again, 14-6. Then we went out for lunch and Karla and Dyl headed home and we headed to our family picture session. That was fun, Jared would NOT sit still, so it was interesting to say the least. Don and Jared have both been sick all week, I'm ready for summer lol! Don is feeling better, Jared is to, last night we had to take him into the Dr cause I couldn't get his fever under 103 =() Finally it came down, he has not really slept the last 2 nights, I am ready for sleep anytime now. Tonight is the last football practice, Don is really sad about that, he has had SO much fun doing it. Thursday is the last game of the season! Saturday is our pizza party, that should be fun!
