Our NEW grass

So Don and Brad finished the sod today, well 3/4 of it. The rest we cant do until we get back, we have to have someplace for the swingset and the kids to play. But most of it is done and it looks amazing!!

Today we went to Splash Zone, it was so warm and the kids had a lot of fun. Then we went to the movies "Ratiotiouee" (sp) Then back to our house for pizza, cupcakes and presents. He got a couple games, money and a bed tent, and a pokemon book. So he is in heaven!

Tomorrow Amanda and the kids are leaving for the west side again, was nice having them here for a short visit. Thats about it for now!!

Quick update

So ask me how excited I am?? OK I'll tell you!! Half my grass is in! Don will have it done Saturday. He has been getting a pallet a night and he'll get 3 tomorrow and be done with that half of the yard. It looks SOOOO beautiful. When he is done I will post before and after pictures. Its amazing. We've just been hanging out. The boys got thru their first week of summer school . They liked it, got lots of prizes. Only 2 more weeks of it. Amanda and the kids are coming over this weekend to hang out. Were going to the Grand Coulee Dam lightshow tonight. Then tomorrow we are going to the movies for Parkers birthday, he wants to see Ratiotiouee, however you spell that one lol! Sunday we are going to Splash Zone, so another busy weekend. Patrick has his Dr appt on Monday with the Dermotologist, just to check everything out. Well I better get some more laundry going, I bet your glad you can do that now huh Karen?? lol!! Tuesday

The boys started summer school yesterday. Patrick likes it, Parker doesn't. Its only for 3 weeks so he'll get over it =) The boys have loved having Jordy girl over. Tara and Riley are coming tomorrow. You sure go through alot more food when you have another mouth to feed =)

So I went and put Jareds sandles on him and his feet are too big, so back to Payless shoe for some more sandles for fat foot. I bought a bunch of travel stuff yesterday for the trip, getting more and more anxious.

Don is calling today to see if we can get our sod delivered this Saturday at 8am!! I cannot wait, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of dirt. Every time the boys come in I have to wash their shoes and then have them take a shower. It will be nice when we have NO more dirt back there.

The two older boys and I have a dentist appt today. So mom is going to watch the other 3 kids while we go. Jared FINALLY slept ALL night long last night. I didn't go to bed until 11pm, I had to mop the floor AGAIN, do the dishes, well load the dishwasher, Don unloaded it for me, and of course watch Hells Kitchen and The Closer, which is hard cause they are on at the same time. But I slept good. Don had to get up at 1am to go to work, his last night doing that!! Starting next week he has Fridays and Saturdays off. I am so glad about that! Were trying to figure out when to go to Splashzone, but it hasn't been nice enough. Maybe friday will be nicer, then I can get rid of this farmers tan from the park I got!

Anyway, thats about it for now. Have a good week!!

Were Home!!

Well were home safe and sound. Got home yesterday and the boys were SO excited! I didn't hear a peep out of Jared for the longest time, he just sat and played with all his toys. Then Don got here like 10 minutes after we did, Joshua screamed SO loud! They really missed their daddy. After a bit we went to wal mart to pick up some stuff and just ate at subway. Jordy girl came home with me, so this week I have 5 kids =) The weather is nice here, not as nice as end of June should be, but I'll take it! Parkers 10th birthday is next week and he wants to go see Rattitoui (sp) so I think we'll go see that with a couple of his friends.

Lets see last week, Thursday I went over to Tinas to drop Masons gift off and the boys played for a while, Josh got hurt again =( Then we went over to Karens and visited her and Renee. Caitie and the boys played with Buster and outside, they all had fun. While Josh and Jared sat at the counter eating as many cookies as they could. They like going over there lol! It was great to catch up with them. Jared sure liked Randy (Karens husband). Then we went to a bbq at my dad and joyces for my dads birthday. We had costco dogs and cake and all that yummy stuff. That was fun, got some really fun pictures. Friday we chilled all day long. I had to get diapers so we did that and met Carrie at Wendys for lunch, but then it was right back to taras to relax and not do anything! Was nice. Saturday we left. The ride home was great. We stopped at a rest stop while the kids ran around, then we went potty and headed for home! Was so glad to see it too. Mona looks SO good, she got a hydro bath and all her excess hair is gone and she looks beautiful. She was SO happy to see us, I really missed her a lot! Well today I am doing laundry, laundry and more laundry!! Happy Sunday!!

Busy busy week

Ok so I heard a quote from Army Wives last night: "When you are a mother, you stop being the picture and start being the frame" That is so true, and thats a true mom.

Well yesterday we met Tina, Mason and Taylor at the park. It was fun, the kids ran and ran. Then we stopped by Target, got Patrick some sun glasses, so now we only have to get Parker some before our trip. I ordered 2 pair of PJ pals from Disney store for Parker. All the other boys have at least 4 pair of shorts PJ pals and Parker only has 1 so we needed more for our trip. Only 3 weeks and 2 days.

The little ones were in rare form yesterday. It was a long stressful day. I think we are going home early, either friday or saturday morning, have not decided yet. I think they miss home and daddy.

Today we are meeting my friend Tina and her 4 kids at the park. Joyce and Andrew and Lauren are going to meet us as well. The kids love going there. Then we will stop by Sluys Bakery and get the kids a cookie. Then off to Costco for costco dogs for the bbq tomorrow night, then Safeway. Another busy day.

I've lost 2 pounds since saturday. When I get home its crunch time. Yougurt for breakfast and salads for lunch and dinner until we leave!

I do have to get Don a couple more shirts. But other than that were set!!

Well I'm off to get ready for the park! Happy Hump day!!

Happy Adoption Day!

So, it was 3 years ago that Don adopted the boys. Seems like just last year. Time has flown by so fast. I was pregnant with Joshua at the time. I remember the boys were just waiting for the judge to say it was final. Instantly Patrick started calling Don dad, but Parker took a little longer, he waited until him and Don had a father/son day, I guess to feel comfortable enough and make sure Don wasn't going anywhere. I couldn't of picked a greater dad to those boys, all 4 of them. Isn't it crazy how sometimes in life we think nothing will ever get better, but God has a perfect plan for us if we just wait on him. He is so wonderful!! So on this day, our adoption day I want to say I love you sweetie!!

Happy Fathers Day!

I have a wonderful daddy, a great step dad and an amazing husband who is so great with our kids. I am lucky to have him for an example for our 4 boys. They miss him alot today. They did get to talk to him, but they wanted to see him. He has done so many wonderful things for them and with them, I just love him to death!

We've been having a great time over here. Yesterday we went to my dad and joyces for lunch and so the kids could play, then today went to church and back to my dads for fathers day dinner. Amanda cooked chicken and noodles, I brought salad and rolls and dessert.

Tomorrow we are going to the mall and I'm going to have dinner with a friend, cant wait! Well I'm going to put some boys in bed, so I'll update in a couple days!! Happy Fathers Day to all those "Dads"

Were Here!

Well we made it safe and sound. It was actually a really nice drive. Jared has been SO good the last few days on even on the trip he was an angel!! We are going to go to Dylans game tonight, the boys are really excited about that. Our week is SO busy. We have lots of people to visit.

On the way over we saw a house that had tons of balloons for graduation. I actually started to cry. Parker graduates when he is 17, so that is only 7 years away =((((

Anyway, thats about it for now! Hope everyone has a great week!!!

I know its been a few days. But I have been really sick the last couple days. Not sure if it is something I ate or what, but I have not been able to eat anything, I guess I will lose a couple pounds =) We celebrated fathers day last night since we wont be here. Patrick made Don a card at school it said: "Fathers hold their sons hands for a while, their hearts forever" It was so sweet. We went out for dinner. Then Don and two of the boys went and got another truck load of dirt for the backyard. Its offically done and ready for sod next week! I am loving that the boys are out of school, for a week anyway, they start summer school when we get back for the West side. So up early again =( We leave in like 4 weeks! I am so excited. We have not been doing anything exciting latley. I did get my hair done yesterday. I got about an inch trimmed off and a couple different colors in. I like it. Well I am off to do laundry so I can pack!! Have a good week!!

1. I have to have the blankets perfect while I sleep, the sheet has to be folded over the comforter just right.

2. I can burp louder than most men =) Its an art, truly.

3. Most nights I am awake more than I am asleep. I am always worrying, thinking and trying to figure things out. Sometimes I have to write things down so I can deal with it in the morning.

4. I have a problem with chinning people. Not sure why I do it, but I love it!

5. I sing ALL the time, if you say a word it will click and I will start singing a song that has that word in it.

6. I have told alot of guys I loved them, but looking back, I didn't mean any of them until I said it to Don.

7. I sometimes dont think I can make it being a mother to 4, I get overwhelmed and cry alot =(

8. Durning the summer I will not wear shoes (unless I'm walking), I will only wear flip flops or sandles.

9. I hate my hair, it doesn't matter which way I have it, I hate it.

10. I dont like animals, but I love my Mona dog SO much that it makes me so completly sad when I think of losing her.

A little update

It has been a fun week with Amanda and the kids here. Tonight is Patricks last game and their last day of school. YAYAYAY!! Parker is going bowling with his friends today for a birthday party. We have been walking everyday, getting chased by Pittbulls lol. There was one when we were walking yesterday who wasn't chained up, so we just slowly turned around. Scary, I had Mona with us too. Tomorrow is the parade and carnival in Ephrata. We went to the little kiddie parade last night. We've been eating out alot which I love, havent gained any weight back so I'm happy about that. We leave in 5 weeks from today! Picked up our tickets/itinerary a couple days ago. Well just wanted to do a quick update, gotta get ready for Patrick to come home so we can do play!! Happy Anniversary to my Mom and John!!

Happy Birthday Patrick!!

Today is my Patricks 8th birthday! I cannot believe how time has flown by! He is so wonderful and sweet. Althought we butt heads alot because we are so much alike, I would not change one single thing about him.

We went to Chuck E Cheese on saturday for his party. Tara and the girls, Amanda and the kids and us. It was SO much fun! Chuck himself came out and danced and sang happy birthday, it was perfect! They had a lot of fun. I am going to download more pics of that day, but have to do it at my moms since her computer is faster. We are going out to dinner tonight, Patrick picked Dennys!

They have 4 more days of school left! YAYAYAY!! Amanda and the kiddos got here friday afternoon! It was so good to see them, the kids have been playing non stop! We went for a nice walk today and grocery shopping. She is going to show me how to make her fett. alfredo and cheeseburger meatloaf. Don will be SO happy about that one!

Well thats about it for now, have to get ready to go to dinner! Oh, Patrick got a DS from us, a Spiderman game from Auntie Tara, a Ben 10 toy and TMNT toy from Auntie Amanda, and will get the rest tonight!!

Heat, Patrick and allergies!

Whew, it got hot today! It reached 90 outside, and 81inside, Don put in the AC's today. It is still 70 outside. Don got called into work at 3am again, but at least I know he will be off at 3pm instead of whenever!

Tara and the girls are leaving today after school to come over. Then Amanda and everyone will be here probably after Tara. Excited to see everyone!

Parkers last game was Wednesday, so we thought. It looks like they will be going to playoffs! So he starts practice for that next week. Patricks last game is next week also.

Well about Patrick. I took him back to the Dr cause his spots are healing, but spreading. He has what is called Molluscum Contagiosum. I know ..what?? Its a skin disease. It normally lasts 6-9 months, but can last up to 24 months. He is on a very hard steroid cream, that is working good, but they are still spreading, probably because he itches them and touches another part of his body. It is contagious with skin to skin contact. He has to have a clean towel every time he takes a shower, new jammies everynight and I have to change his sheets everyday. So needless to say is a lot of work, but we are praying for a total healing of him. Jared has a bunch of spots now, I'm thinking its a heat rash, we'll know in a couple days =( Parker had this last summer, but his went away within a couple months, so we'll see.

Well that's about all here, allergies have been really acting up with Me and Patrick. I hate this time of year for that one thing. Well I'm going back to bed, Jared got up and I was having a hard time going to sleep so I thought I would update. Oh some good news??? Don said WE ARE getting high speed Internet!!!! Yay for me!!
